That sooner or later I would write an article on Agile Marketing . Now some time ago, I was attracted by the title on Amazon and I bought the book Hacking Marketing by Scott Brinker and carried it with me in my work bag, but without ever having the time to read it, until, due to a theft suffered on my book was stolen along with my bag (I still remember my expression when, upon returning home, I opened the trunk of my car and found nothing there, but that's another story). However, I didn't give up because I thought and still think that Agile Marketing is a very current topic and a possible solution to the organization of work in the Marketing function.
So I bought the book again and here we are. But enough talking…let's get started! What is Agile Marketing? Agile Marketing means the application of the Agile methodology to the Marketing function . I would India Phone Number List therefore say that we should focus on what Agile is , understand its origins to learn more about whether and how it can help Marketing. Agile , in common jargon, means having the ability to move easily and quickly but if we use the lens of Project Management , we instead identify a methodology that has developed in the field of software development which is characterized by the division of the various phases working in single tasks with a strong ability to absorb changes compared to planning.
The Principles of Agile Marketing The founders of the Agile methodology identified 12 founding principles (you can find them here ) which inspired us to write the Agile Marketing Manifesto: People and the interactions between them are more important than processes and tools Responding to change is more important than following the plan Prefer many small experiments rather than a few big bets Prefer tests and data (or if we want evidence ) over opinions and conversations Creating " tribes " or communities of customers rather than seeking completely impersonal mass market communication Look for engagement and transparency rather than official brand attitudes
