[/justify]The library. Not the Lunae Libri - the normal one. The one that nobody dared venture into, the one that stayed quiet and musty, was my home away from home. I wasn't exactly much of a reader, though. I preferred to sit quietly and enjoy the silence. In the library, there was more than enough of that. Nobody ever came in here, so all I managed to see was the librarian bustling around with her books. I could sit quietly and not have a rush of things flying at my face. I could read a book if I wanted to without getting a head ache; I could use the amazingly slow internet connection to play a couple video games without feeling confused. It was bliss, I tell you. Bliss.
Not to mention that there was no one to ogle at my outfits. Words didn't hurt me, but sometimes they did get me thinking. Today I was wearing black leggings that came to just below my knees and bright blue knee-high converse, my favourite shoes. I wore a white tank top with a black pull over sweater sort of deal, and a grey scarf with blue birds on it. Not all that bad today, actually, but it wasn't to the Mortal's dress code. Not that I was really old enough to hang out with them much anyways. My hair was pulled back into a pony tail so high it was almost on top of my head, and I had washable blue streaks in them. Today was a blue day for me.
The computer had finally booted. I quickly logged into my e-mail and set my dented, cracked phone onto the table next to the keyboard. I began to sift through pages and pages of different games on a version of internet explorer so ancient it was probably before my time. I considered downloading Google Chrome, but it would probably take years to do that. So I settled on a game called 'Bloons Tower Defense' and relaxed.
